Honoured with the prestigious honorary doctorate ( PhD ) from the THE SANSKRITI UNIVERSITY INDIA. The award was conferred by the former president of India , Shree Ram Nath Kovind . In an august and elaborate ceremony , paying a tribute to DR. UDAYRAJ A . GADNIS tremendous achievements in the field of fine arts and humanities. This conferred Doctorate also acknowledges his contributions to field of spiritual painting and his formally structuring the Spiritual Art Movement in 2000. Which has now after 20 years created a new paradigm for Indian spiritual art post Indian independence at a national and international level , an achievement that has put the doctrine of Indian spiritual art mainstream. With over 30 years of painting, and painting over 3000 paintings he has been credited with creating singlehandedly a new vocabulary of contemporary spiritual art . Dr. UDARAJ A. GADNIS has dedicated his doctorate to his mother - Maa Geetanjali Anant Gadnis , his very first Guru Maa.
